Seawolf Park
(United States of America - Texas - Galveston)
This museum and park is a memorial to USS Seawolf (SS-197), a United States Navy submarine mistakenly sunk by friendly fire in 1944.
Seawolf Park contains two museumships which served in the Second World War:
The USS Cavalla (SS-244), a Gato-class submarine. She sank the Japanese aircraft carrier Shōkaku.
The USS Stewart (DE-238), an Edsall-class escort-destroyer. She is one of the two preserved escort-destroyers from the Second World War.
The museum also contains the conning tower of the USS Carp (SS-338), which also served during the Second World War.
