Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial

(Netherlands, the - Limburg - Margraten)

8301 soldiers lay to rest at Margraten on this moment, 2 unknown soldiers are burried in 1 grave. Next to that there is a tombstone of an American soldier who was recently brought back to the USA (on the request of the widow).
Second Lieutenant Utecht was the last one to be buried on this cemetery, this happened on the 16th of September 1994.

There is also a story that, the cremated, Charles R. Correl was spread out over the cemetery. This is not confirmed by the cemetery and therefore not counted in the above mentioned numbers. There's also no tombstone for Correl.

There's also a memorial which has the names of the 1723 missing American soldiers engraved in it.
