Flémalle Fortress

(Belgium - Liège - Flémalle-Grand)

This fort was built in 1889 and was part of the Enhanced Position Liege.

In May 1940 the fortress was bombed heavily by the German artillery and air bombardments. Craters created by these bombardments are still visible.
