Big Red One Assault Museum
(France - Basse-Normandie - Colleville-sur-Mer)
This museum is run by two young French collectors and a relief among the many other museums in Normandy. It deals with the landings at Omaha Beach and illustrates this on the basis of items from the units who fought there. Also you can watch never showed archive images of the past.
The whole collection is located in a new light and airy building at about 300 meters from the entrance of the U.S. Cemetery.
