Memorial Electric Wire
(Belgium - Liège - Sippenaeken)
This memorial commemorates the electric fence, build in the First World War in occupied Belgium to prevent escaping to the Netherlands.
In the Second World War the memorial was destroyed by the Nazis and it was restored in 1962. A plaque on the memorial commemorates this.
