Fort 49 "Krzesławice"

(Poland - Lesser Poland - Kraków)

Fort 49 "Krzesławice" was constructed between 1872 and 1878 as part of the Austrian-Hungarian Festung Krakau. This fort was used by the Germans during the Second World War as munition storage. There were also mass executions of Polish patriots committed by the Nazi's from 11 November 1939 to 15 October 1941.

It is currently owned of an organisation.
