Cointet-Elements
(Belgium - Antwerp - Antwerpen)
Cointet-elements, also known under the names Belgian Gate of C-element, were metal tank barriers used by the Belgians. They were the main part of the KW-line, which was built in 1939 and 1940.
After the German invasion in Belgium, the Germans re-used many of the elements as barrier on beaches and bridged. The elements in the picture are placed here in World War II.
