Memorial Killed Members of the Resistance

(Netherlands, the - North Brabant - Leende)

Along the Burgermeester Vogelslaan is a memorial to commemorates twee members of the resistance from Leende, who wanted to dismantle an unexploded bomb on this location, to use the explosives.

During this action, on 15 June 1943, the bomb exploded and they were killed. They are buried in a collective grave on Leende churchyard.

Their names were:
Harrie (H.) van Kuijk
Frans (F.L.A.) van Weert
Kees (C.M.M.) Vogels
