Liberation Memorial Den Hout

(Netherlands, the - North Brabant - Den Hout)

This memorial commemorates the crossing of the Markkanaal on the 3rd of November 1944, by the First Polish Division, the Princess Irene Brigade and the 240th Company Royal Engineers.

30 Polish and 100 German soldiers were killed during this fight.

An exactly similar monument is placed in Oosterhout at the Korenbocht.
