Veteran's Memorial Fountain Belleville

(United States of America - Illinois - Belleville)

The Veteran's Memorial Fountain was built in 1937 by local Veterans of Foreign Wars as a memorial to American servicemen at a cost of $600.00 because of donated materials and labor.

It has since become a memorial to the fallen soldiers from every war.

The fountain sits in the town square (roundabout) in downtown Belleville, Illinois.
It sits in the center where North & South Illinois Street cross with East & West Main Street.
