Inundationmonument Ritthem
(Netherlands, the - Zeeland - Ritthem)
Inundationmonument of the former dike breach at Ritthem. The dike breach has been closed with with Phoenixcaissons. On the beach lie a number of beetles, which are components of a pontoon bridge. These were transported from the British Portland. The Allies didn't need them in Arromanches after the invasion in Normadie.
