Plaque Church Wilp

(Netherlands, the - Guelders - Wilp (Voorst))

The plaque is placed on the wall of the curch in Wilp. The plaque remembers to the fallen Allied soldier during the Operation Cannonshoot in April 1945.

For the memorial of the 48th Highlanders of Canada

19 Highlanders died around the town district of Voorst, including the Commanding Officer.

Born 9 juli 1914 in Kincardine Ontario, Canada
Died 12 april 1945 in Wilp, Voorst (Holland)
