Infantry Shooting Range Museum Harskamp

(Netherlands, the - Guelders - Harskamp)

In the museum (Museum Infanterie Schietkamp Harskamp) they are giving a view by maps, photo's, weapons, uniforms and all sorts of articles, to show you how people lived in the town of Harskamp, that was dominated in an ecnomical and social view since 1899 by the Infantry Schietkamp. It isn't exaggerated to say that any civilian had something to do with the millitary live, that was going on in the Schietkamp. In the museum, for example, is a reconstucted bar-room from around the turn of the century (1800-1900) where soldiers would go for some relaxation. You can also see equipment and documents from the mobilization and war days.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
