Commonwealth War Graves Kruiningen

(Netherlands, the - Zeeland - Kruiningen)

The British soldiers were killed by a bomb during the creation of an temporary bridge over the canal South - Beveland by British Genietroepen, at the place where the original Vlakebrug was destroyed.
The temporary bridge and surrounding area was also attacked with machine-guns.
The citizen Kruiningen was hit by a bullet and died later to his injuries.
