The resistance museum Rotterdam is originating from the private collection of Arie Mast and provides a clear picture of the war years in Rotterdam and its environment. From the mobilization through the bombing, the German propaganda, the pogroms, the resistance up to and including the liberation. The museum posses a concise collection of equipment, clothing, photographs and posters of the period 1940 – 1945.

This museum has educational value for both the elderly and the young. Uniforms show how a soldier looked like in those days. Also the persecution of the Jews is being exposed by means of photographs and documents.
