Huertgen Forest - Memorial 'A Time For Healing'

(Germany - Nordrhein-Westfalen - Vossenack)

This memorial is situated at the bridge near the restaurant "Mestrenger Mühle". There were heavy fights around this bridge, which was part of the Kall Trail, during the Battle of Huertgen Forest.

Several times there was a cease-fire to care for the dead and the wounded. Soldiers of both armies walked around to care for the wounded of both parties.
