Memorial PLUTO
(France - Basse-Normandie - Port-en-Bessin)
This is a memorial for the 47 Royal Marine Commando, which build PLUTO (Pipe Line Under The Ocean) in 1944. This PLUTO reached land at Port-en-Bassin.
The memorial is located on a small German bunker, which can be reached by a narrow stairway. From here there is a nice view on the harbour.
