This German 75mm Pak 40 gun is situated in Zandoerle centre, municipality Veldhoven. A notice board gives some information:

Gun from the Second World War

In September 1944 during the Allied operation Market Garden
this gun was captured from the enemy.
During the liberation parties the gun was placed on this square by the inhabitants.
Donated by the municipality to the inhabitants.
Anti-tank gun, type PAK 40, calibre 75mm.
Last restoration in 2006 by Leebur b.v. Bladel
