- From p. 140, "Accidental Journey" by Mark Lynton (highly recommended reading): "... The whole Antwerp fantasy had an equally bizarre sequel. Some time in 1946, the mayor of Antwerp asked for one of the tanks of A Squadron, to be installed as a permanent monument on a large granite block, facing towards the Boom road. I have no idea why I kept a record of the registration numbers of the tanks I had in 1944-45, but I did; that tank you now see standing on the road from Antwerp to Boom is mine! Wave to it as you drive by -- I always do."
