Grave Leon Jessel

Wilmersdorf Cemetery contains the grave of the famour operette-composer Leon Jessel, of Jewish ancestry. Because of a letter found in his house, he was arrested on 15 December 1941.
On 4 January 1942, he died due to heavy torturing by the Gestapo.
