Plaque Carl von Ossietzky
(Germany - Berlin - Berlin-Moabit)
This plaque commemorates Carl von Ossietzky. He was a pacifist, writer and journalist. In 1936, while he was imprisoned in Esterwegen concentration camp, he was awarded the Peace Nobelprize. On 4 May 1938 he died of the consequences of his imprisonement.
